Description:
Altium is transforming the way electronics are designed and built, providing digital platforms that empower PCB designers, supply chain, and manufacturing.
The role is fully remote, with the option to visit the Katowice office.
The DevOps Engineer will build the cloud platform that enhances electronics design, allowing design engineers to communicate and collaborate efficiently.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining the platform, working closely with software developers, security, and operations teams.
The role involves setting up and managing servers, databases, and networks while adhering to industry best practices.
Daily tasks include maintaining relationships with software development departments, planning and documenting work, optimizing CI/CD processes, building resilient service infrastructure, deploying and monitoring application services, mentoring team members, and participating in project management.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in a DevOps/SRE environment.
A minimum of 4+ years of experience working with Linux and Windows systems is required.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure components such as AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, Opensearch, S3, Storage, Route53) is essential.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Terraform, is necessary.
A good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and microservice architecture is required.
Experience in monitoring Kubernetes clusters and AWS services using tools like NewRelic is needed.
Candidates should be able to create automation tools using Go, Python, Bash, or Powershell.
Familiarity with Continuous Delivery tools for microservices is important.
Hands-on experience with cloud networking architecture is a plus.
Working knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab, or similar CI systems is required.
Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and Domain is a nice-to-have.
Coding experience is also necessary.
