Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• As a DevOps Engineer at Particle41, you will enhance software development and IT operations processes.
• You will focus on automating and streamlining processes for efficient and reliable software delivery.
• The role involves working closely with development and operations teams to build, deploy, and maintain critical systems.
• You will ensure the reliability and scalability of customers' infrastructure.
• Responsibilities include collaboration with stakeholders, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and managing cloud-based infrastructure.
• You will implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and develop monitoring solutions for system health and performance.
• Security best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements will be part of your duties.
• You will provide troubleshooting support and participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role is necessary.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby is essential.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is required.
• In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is expected.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems, preferably Git, is necessary.
• A solid understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools is required.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are necessary.
• Certification (current or expired) in at least one of the specified cloud or Kubernetes certifications is required.
