Description:
Augmenta is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team, which focuses on creating software for the construction industry that automates the design and construction of buildings.
The role involves deploying and configuring web infrastructure and applications, monitoring infrastructure for availability, performance, and security, and devising appropriate release procedures for applications and services.
Responsibilities also include planning and upgrading infrastructure and products, recommending and implementing tools for performance, security, and availability, automating processes, ensuring compliance to security risks, and providing operational support by raising alerts to the development team.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 1+ years of experience with Docker and container orchestration systems such as AWS ECS and Kubernetes.
Experience with Amazon Web Services is strongly recommended, including ECS, RDS, IAM, EKS, DynamoDB, and Cognito.
Linux administration experience is required, specifically with CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools, automated builds, and deployments is necessary.
Experience in configuration management using tools like CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform is expected.
Candidates should have experience with monitoring tools and strong scripting skills.
Clear communication skills are essential, along with a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have: Proficiency in Python and/or Go, AWS certification such as Solution Architect or DevOps Engineer, and knowledge of DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP networking, and security.
