Description:

CXT Software is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join their global team.
The role involves bridging infrastructure and application deployment by designing cloud environments, building CI/CD pipelines, and automating for uptime.
The engineer will architect and implement Azure cloud infrastructure, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to impact application scalability and reliability.
Responsibilities include architecting Azure cloud infrastructure using tools like Bicep and Terraform, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Ansible, and ensuring system uptime through automation and monitoring.
The engineer will configure Azure services, support hybrid cloud environments, develop automation scripts primarily in PowerShell, troubleshoot complex issues, monitor system performance, create documentation, and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
CXT Software provides technology solutions for courier, route delivery, and healthcare companies, helping them optimize delivery operations.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering roles.
A proven track record in designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure infrastructure is essential.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell are required.
Hands-on experience managing CI/CD pipelines and automation tools is necessary.
Deep expertise in Windows Server administration, including Group Policy, Remote Desktop, and Server Manager, is required.
Familiarity with hybrid cloud setups combining PaaS/SaaS Azure services with VM-hosted workloads is needed.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure and application issues is essential.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first environment are required.
Nice to have: Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-400), a sense of humor, adaptability in fast-changing technical landscapes, and experience in DevSecOps practices or additional scripting/automation languages.
