Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• The DevOps Engineer at Trustly Americas will work with the CI/CD pipeline for the java-based application stack under the guidance of a Senior DevOps.
• Responsibilities include deploying upgrades and fixes into the live platform in non-productive environments, following security management, system capacity configuration, and upgrades.
• The role involves tuning and securing Nginx rules with guidance, automating tasks to minimize downtime, and improving consistency with the help of a Senior DevOps.
• Identifying and documenting ways to enhance monitoring and system resource utilization is also part of the job.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have knowledge of concepts such as DevOps, Developer, or Infrastructure, with a basic background in software architecture techniques and scripting languages like shell script and/or Python.
• Intermediate experience in Linux/Unix administration is required.
• Familiarity with concepts of Amazon Web Services or another cloud, CI/CD, GitHub, IaaS, versioning, Continuous Integration, and traffic monitoring tools is necessary.
• Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, OpenTofu is also expected.
