Remote Devops Engineer

Description:

• Contrast Security is seeking a highly skilled Deployment Engineer to streamline and optimize agent deployment processes.
• The role focuses on developing automated systems and tools for clients to deploy and manage agents in diverse environments.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams and clients to address deployment challenges, designing automation strategies, and providing expert guidance on containerization and orchestration.
• The engineer will develop and maintain deployment scripts, troubleshoot issues, and stay updated on emerging DevOps technologies.
• Clear communication of complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have extensive experience in DevOps engineering, particularly in deployment automation and developer tooling.
• Strong scripting and programming skills in Bash, Python, Golang, or other relevant languages are required.
• In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) is necessary.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their deployment services is expected.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
• Candidates should be able to work independently and collaboratively, balancing initiative with teamwork.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with configuration management tools, knowledge of infrastructure as code principles, and understanding security best practices in DevOps environments.
