Description:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis.
This role is ideal for a senior-level engineer who is highly proficient in Terraform and deeply familiar with both AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
You will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our infrastructure at scale, ensuring robust security standards, including SOC 2 compliance, and driving cloud cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities include managing and scaling cloud infrastructure using Terraform across AWS and GCP.
You will support SOC 2 security processes, including infrastructure scans and remediation.
Your role will involve monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving system performance, availability, and reliability.
You will identify and implement cloud cost optimization strategies.
Collaboration with the core engineering team to ensure infrastructure aligns with product needs is essential.
Automating infrastructure provisioning and maintenance wherever possible is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

You must have 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Expert-level proficiency with Terraform is required.
Extensive hands-on experience with both AWS and GCP services is necessary.
A proven track record of managing production systems at scale is essential.
You should have a strong understanding of SOC 2 security requirements and cloud compliance practices.
The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote team environment is required.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are necessary.
