Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Join a team of 750+ employees in 21 countries as a DevOps Engineer in Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, or Poland.
• The company specializes in product design, creative solutions, digital marketing, web and mobile app development, e-commerce, and custom solutions.
• Responsibilities include deploying application infrastructure, updating and improving Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates, and ensuring CI/CD processes implementation.
• Automate repetitive tasks and manage user permissions on different services.
• Contribute to the configuration and maintenance of monitoring for all critical services and expenses, both internal and client-facing.
• Respond to developer requests, assist with setting up connections to corporate resources, and restore access as needed.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, tools, and processes.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of production experience with AWS and hands-on experience with Azure.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems is required.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker is necessary.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation is essential.
• A strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like BitBucket Pipelines, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions is needed.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Powershell (Azure) is required.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack is necessary.
• A basic understanding of the OSI model and networking concepts including Routing, Ports, IP, DNS, TCP, SSH, SSL, and VPN is required.
• Experience with relational and no-SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Mongo is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience with web servers like Apache and Nginx.
• Experience with performance analysis and optimization is required.
• Familiarity with security best practices for CI/CD and cloud environments is essential.
• Strong Git knowledge and understanding of branching/merging strategies is necessary.
• Clear and concise communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams are required.
• A desire to learn and stay updated with new DevOps trends and tools is essential.
• Candidates should have the ability to take initiative and drive improvements in processes or systems.
• An upper-intermediate level of English is required.
