Description:

  • Humi is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Global Engineering team and contribute to infrastructure engineering and cloud-native deployment strategies.
  • The role involves managing cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as CodeDeploy, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
  • The engineer will lead and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with Pulumi and Terraform, with Terragrunt as a bonus.
  • Responsibilities include developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions for automated deployments.
  • The position requires implementing and maintaining observability tools like Datadog, New Relic, Cloudwatch, and Honeycomb to monitor system health and performance.
  • The engineer will architect and support stateful systems including MS SQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and Kafka, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Compliance with industry-standard frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001:2013, GDPR) and implementing robust security practices across all systems is essential.
  • The role also involves designing and managing Kubernetes-based container orchestration systems and supporting microservice architectures.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, architectures, and best practices.
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform, is required.
  • Expertise in configuring CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions and managing code repositories in Github is necessary.
  • Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration, microservice architectures, and advanced observability solutions is essential.
  • A solid background in managing stateful systems like PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and Kafka is required.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate routine tasks and integrate systems is needed.
  • Demonstrated experience with compliance requirements (SOC2, ISO 27001:2013, GDPR) in a production environment is necessary.
