Description:
Humi is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Global Engineering team and contribute to infrastructure engineering and cloud-native deployment strategies.
The role involves managing cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as CodeDeploy, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
The engineer will lead and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with Pulumi and Terraform, with Terragrunt as a bonus.
Responsibilities include developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions for automated deployments.
The position requires implementing and maintaining observability tools like Datadog, New Relic, Cloudwatch, and Honeycomb to monitor system health and performance.
The engineer will architect and support stateful systems including MS SQL, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and Kafka, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Compliance with industry-standard frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001:2013, GDPR) and implementing robust security practices across all systems is essential.
The role also involves designing and managing Kubernetes-based container orchestration systems and supporting microservice architectures.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, architectures, and best practices.
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform, is required.
Expertise in configuring CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions and managing code repositories in Github is necessary.
Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration, microservice architectures, and advanced observability solutions is essential.
A solid background in managing stateful systems like PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and Kafka is required.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate routine tasks and integrate systems is needed.
Demonstrated experience with compliance requirements (SOC2, ISO 27001:2013, GDPR) in a production environment is necessary.
