Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Gathern is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join the team.
• The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining infrastructure and tools for software products and services.
• Collaboration with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
• Automation of processes, management of infrastructure, and oversight of deployment and release cycles.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting system issues, contributing to continuous integration and delivery, and implementing best practices for software development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps or a similar role.
• Strong experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools and frameworks such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like ELK stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
