Description:
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for multiple development teams.
They will automate infrastructure creation and maintenance using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and self-written scripts.
The engineer will manage and enhance Kubernetes clusters in the cloud and maintain Helm charts for various services.
Continuous development of observability and alerting tools will be part of their responsibilities.
Participation in engineering discussions, future product development, and documentation writing for other engineers are also included in the role.
Requirements:
Must have at least 3 years of experience working with Linux-based systems.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python is required.
Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Gitlab, is necessary.
Hands-on experience with AWS is a must.
Familiarity with various databases like PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and no-SQL databases (Redis, Elasticsearch, Cassandra) is essential.
Experience with streaming and messaging tools like RabbitMQ and Kafka is required.
Ability to set up a Vault mechanism for managing secrets.
Experience in running and managing a Kafka cluster (AWS MSK) and related components.
Proficiency in IAC and configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible is necessary.
Good understanding of containerization, virtualization, Kubernetes, Docker, and kaniko.
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, AlertManager, Grafana, and EFK stack.
Must have an upper-intermediate level of English.
