Description:
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining mission-critical information extraction, analysis, and management systems.
They will collaborate on designing and implementing the Company’s Disaster Recovery Plan and production systems.
Working with project management teams to monitor progress and implementation of initiatives will be part of their responsibilities.
Optimizing IT infrastructure by designing cyber-secure systems, updates, and practices in collaboration with IT Teams.
Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and zero-time deployments.
Automating change management and delivery pipeline into production for safety, predictability, repeatability, and auditability.
Setting up monitoring and alerting of production systems and supporting Major Incident response when required.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in an engineering/DevOps role.
Proven programming background in languages like Python, Typescript, Java, etc.
Strong experience with AWS services, particularly CDK.
Designing and building CI/CD Pipelines in an AWS environment.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools like DevSec Ops, GitHub Actions, and AWS Code Pipeline.
Experience with Docker Compose, Dockerization of applications, and container orchestration services.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Process-oriented with strong documentation skills.
Knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, or similar field.
