Description:
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for system engineering tasks related to Azure infrastructure, build and release automation, application security best practices, and application monitoring.
They will make strategic infrastructure choices, establish standard operating procedures, and manage Mercury’s cloud infrastructure and clients' production applications.
Tasks include Microsoft Azure infrastructure solution engineering, managing infrastructure for large-scale web applications using Bicep templates, application metrics monitoring, container management, and participation in software development team operations.
The role involves deploying, maintaining, and monitoring Azure cloud infrastructure (PaaS and IaaS), working with a team following GitFlow with continuous deployment pipelines, administering databases, setting up automated test infrastructure, and writing PowerShell scripts.
Proficiency in Agile teams, specifically Scrum with 2-week sprints, is preferred.
Requirements:
Strong background in systems, cloud infrastructure, and experience with infrastructure scripting and management.
Proficiency in technologies related to the trade, design patterns, architectural best practices, and development frameworks.
Excellent interpersonal communication, time management, and technical skills are expected.
Benefits:
Salary range: $100,000/yr - $140,000/yr.
