The Magnet Review Team is seeking a talented DevOps engineer to enhance collaboration between stakeholders in the agency organization.
The role involves delivering the SaaS REVIEW solution and driving best practices related to CI/CD, scaling, optimization, and security.
Candidates must reside in the United States.
Responsibilities include identifying improvements across processes, tools, and architecture, analyzing requirements, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting defects, and guiding best practices for code projects.
The position also involves communication across the product and organization, providing mentorship, supporting compliance efforts, and participating in support calls for issue resolution.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 4+ years of experience with Python and/or Go.
A minimum of 4 years of experience patching Linux systems and containers is required.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
Proficiency in Linux shell scripting, Git-based version control systems, and build tools (Jenkins) is necessary.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of networking design, protocols, and security.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation/CDK, Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts) is required.
Familiarity with cloud providers, specifically AWS, and experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines is essential.
Additional skills that may be beneficial include experience with compliance initiatives (SOC2, FedRAMP), managing relational databases, and working in high-security environments.
