Fruitist is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work remotely in the US, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.
The role involves collaborating with development teams to accelerate delivery, improve code quality and security, and streamline processes.
Responsibilities include identifying bottlenecks, implementing infrastructure-as-code, enhancing developer experience, and managing access to information.

Requirements:

A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required, with a background in Mathematics and Statistics being a plus.
Candidates should have 4-5 years of proven coding and scripting skills, such as Bash and Shell, with hands-on experience in implementing large-scale cloud architectures on modern platforms.
Expertise in automating infrastructure provisioning using tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and Terraform is necessary.
In-depth knowledge of both on-prem and cloud infrastructure, including AWS and Azure, is required, covering services, storage, networking, and caching management.
Experience with container technologies, such as Docker or OpenShift, for scalable deployments is essential.
Solid experience in continuous integration using tools like Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, and Sonar is needed for streamlined development workflows.
A strong understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in DevOps environments is required.
Candidates must possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to process complex information quickly, and a curiosity-driven passion for learning to tackle new challenges.
