Description:
- As a DevOps Engineer at Alto Pharmacy, you will collaborate with engineering, IT, and compliance teams to enhance technical infrastructure, developer tooling, and security practices for reliable and secure system operations.
- You will work on projects like designing a Kubernetes operator, introducing new infrastructure components, and building tooling for package upgrades.
- Responsibilities include managing cloud infrastructure, keeping components up-to-date, deploying observability tools, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, enhancing security practices, and promoting collaboration across teams.
- The role involves educating the engineering team on reliable software principles and security best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or information security, preferably in healthcare or online services.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Ruby, Go, and experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Python, GoLang, JavaScript, SQL/R, Ruby on Rails, Java, React, React Native, Swift, or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with O&O tools, CI/CD platforms, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $116,000 - $146,000.
- Equity eligible position.
- Travel required up to 15% of the time for engineering on/off sites.
