Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support software development and deployment processes
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment for efficient operations
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of production systems to ensure optimal functionality
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and IT operations to facilitate seamless integration and delivery of applications
• Implement security best practices in the DevOps process to ensure data protection
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in DevOps to enhance processes and systems

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI), configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef), containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), scripting languages (Python, Bash), version control (Git), monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
