Description:

The DevOps team at ThreatConnect is looking for an Engineer to join their multi-functional team that provides world-class service 24x7 for global clients.
The role involves collaboration with Core Engineering, Platform Integrations, and QA teams to deliver CI/CD services and R&D environments.
The ideal candidate should be solution-driven, willing to experiment, and open to proposing innovative ideas.
Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and monitoring production systems, responding to production outages, and planning tools for stable and scalable platform growth.
The position requires taking ownership of problems, being collaborative, asking questions, and enjoying the process of fixing issues.
Daily tasks will vary, and team members are encouraged to contribute creatively to technical solutions.
The onboarding process includes training, understanding tools and stakeholders, and setting up a ThreatConnect instance.
Expectations evolve over the first year, from managing Jira tickets to leading major projects.

Requirements:

Proficiency with a Linux command line environment and Linux server administration is required.
Candidates must have experience managing distributed web services.
Experience with Docker, including building and managing containers, is necessary.
Proficiency with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is essential.
Candidates should have experience with configuration management systems like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Familiarity with CI/CD platforms or similar tools, such as Gitlab, Travis CI, or Jenkins, is required.
Proficiency with Git version control is necessary.
Experience with a high-level programming language, such as Python, Bash, or Go, is required.
A total of 5-7 years of technical experience is expected.
Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code systems are desired.
