Description:
Twingate is seeking a DevOps engineer to build new infrastructure-related features and influence the future of their product from UI to database.
The position is remote and part of a passionate team located across Israel, Europe, and the US.
Responsibilities include working with a small team of developers in a CI/CD environment using cutting-edge technologies.
The engineer will set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and achieve 99.99% uptime, utilizing tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
The role involves implementing and maintaining security best practices within DevOps processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Collaboration with Engineering teams is essential for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
The technology stack includes GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Flux, ELK, Postgres, Redis, and Prometheus/Grafana.
Participation in on-call rotation is required to support critical infrastructure and application issues, including incident response and root cause analysis.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong technical skills and a good understanding of systems and infrastructure.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar role is required.
Experience in building the full application release cycle (CI/CD) is essential.
Familiarity with modern web applications and their scaling is necessary.
Strong proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Linux Shell is required.
Proficiency in Python or Go is considered a plus.
Expert knowledge in Google Cloud (GCP) is mandatory.
Proven experience in DevOps and Infrastructure is essential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required.
Candidates should have the ability to see the bigger picture and engage in system architecture planning.
