Description:

  • Twingate is seeking a DevOps engineer to build new infrastructure-related features and influence the future of their product from UI to database.
  • The position is remote and part of a passionate team located across Israel, Europe, and the US.
  • Responsibilities include working with a small team of developers in a CI/CD environment using cutting-edge technologies.
  • The engineer will set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and achieve 99.99% uptime, utilizing tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
  • The role involves implementing and maintaining security best practices within DevOps processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration with Engineering teams is essential for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
  • The technology stack includes GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Flux, ELK, Postgres, Redis, and Prometheus/Grafana.
  • Participation in on-call rotation is required to support critical infrastructure and application issues, including incident response and root cause analysis.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have strong technical skills and a good understanding of systems and infrastructure.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar role is required.
  • Experience in building the full application release cycle (CI/CD) is essential.
  • Familiarity with modern web applications and their scaling is necessary.
  • Strong proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Linux Shell is required.
  • Proficiency in Python or Go is considered a plus.
  • Expert knowledge in Google Cloud (GCP) is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in DevOps and Infrastructure is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required.
  • Candidates should have the ability to see the bigger picture and engage in system architecture planning.
