Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• As a DevOps Engineer at Cube Asia, you will play a crucial role in scaling the backend systems.
• Responsibilities include building and managing infrastructure operations on AWS, collaborating with data and software engineering teams, and enhancing system reliability, scalability, and performance.
• You will work closely with the data engineer and software engineer teams to align and create collaborative solutions.
• Tasks involve installing, configuring, and managing supporting applications like PostgresQL, Nginx, Airflow, Jenkins, or any other necessary apps.
• Maintaining deployment CI/CD for internal tools and Apps with Ansible and enhancing monitoring tools across servers.
• You will contribute to the ongoing improvement of critical infrastructure and research new technologies for efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps, Sysadmin, System Engineer practices, including basic Linux understanding, automation, CI/CD, and IAC.
• Familiarity with Linux OS, good system and network troubleshooting skills, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba), and DevOps tools (Git, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Experience with simple scripting (bash, Python), commonly used databases technology (MySQL and PostgresQL), and observability systems like metrics, logging, tracing, and profiling.
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools (airflow, airbyte, dbt) and big data services in AWS, as well as container and container orchestration (k8s) and related underlying technology.
