Description:

  • Support the Office of Personnel Management in ensuring federal employees receive timely and accurate retirement benefits
  • Provide software development, continuous integration, software delivery, systems administration, software quality, and systems documentation support for digital assets
  • Collaborate with the Application Development Team and content contributors to develop strategies for web products
  • Assist in configuring, using, and monitoring cloud-based infrastructure services like Azure, GitHub Actions, and MSSQL
  • Build a strong technical foundation in build, release, and production using continuous integration tools and infrastructure provisioning tools
  • Engage with government personnel to understand requirements and develop better software solutions
  • Collaborate with government personnel to build valuable tools for day-to-day operations and broader missions
  • Represent Blue Tiger's culture of delivery excellence when interacting with government stakeholders and contractors

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a DevOps engineer in a professional environment
  • Experience delivering software to a containerized cloud environment with a focus on optimization, troubleshooting, and monitoring
  • Proficiency in utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providers like AWS, Azure, etc.
  • Ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and processes to support development, deployment, and monitoring
  • Expertise in setting up and using CI/CD tools
  • Proven ability to apply good software engineering principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in a scrum/agile development methodology and environment
  • Highly resourceful, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to build strong relationships
  • Adaptive, empathetic, collaborative, and positive mindset
  • Ability to quickly learn new knowledge and absorb ecosystem dynamics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to balance concurrent tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver quality results

  • Anticipated annual salary range: $120,000 - $180,000
