The Cloud Platform team manages Fusion clusters for public cloud customers and is seeking a DevOps Engineer to advance their cloud platform.
The role involves developing and employing DevOps best practices and tools to create, deploy, monitor, and maintain production infrastructures for customers.
Responsibilities include building automation tools, collaborating with engineering teams, ensuring high uptime, and managing major projects related to infrastructure automation and monitoring.
The position requires effective collaboration with international development teams and ownership of the cloud-first initiative for customer onboarding.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional DevOps experience at a PaaS or SaaS company.
A minimum of 1 year of experience with Kubernetes and knowledge of containerization and orchestration is required.
Experience in operating JVM-based applications at scale, including garbage collection analysis and heap tuning, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience managing large-scale distributed systems, maintaining hundreds to thousands of instances across multiple cloud environments.
The role includes being part of an on-call rotation to serve as the first line of defense for customers.
Familiarity with developing SaaS infrastructure and the SaaS deployment model is required.
An acceptable background check is mandatory.

The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $155,000 per year, depending on interview performance and experience.
