  • The DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate systems.
  • Responsibilities include supporting continuous delivery pipelines, automating deployment processes, and troubleshooting issues in development, testing, and production environments.
  • The role involves optimizing interdependencies between application development and infrastructure operations through continuous delivery and monitoring.
  • Key responsibilities include building, publishing, and automating the deployment of releases, researching new technologies for the DevOps toolchain, monitoring infrastructure performance, and providing product support for escalated tickets.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience is required.
  • Candidates must have 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services, including ECS, Fargate, EC2, Code Deploy, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and IAM.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with Docker containers is necessary.
  • Candidates should have 2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python and/or PowerShell.
  • Experience in setting up and configuring application CI/CD tools like git, Jenkins, Octopus, Ansible, AWS Code Deploy, and Artifactory is required.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as ELK or Datadog is essential.
  • Candidates must have experience with Windows and Linux administration, security, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Experience with Azure or GCP is considered an asset.
  • A background in a technical engineering role, such as software development, release management, or deployment engineering, is preferred.
  • Experience in technology infrastructure, including network, monitoring, systems, and databases, is required.
  • The incumbent will work regular business hours but may need to work evenings and weekends for project completion and system maintenance.
