The DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate systems.
Responsibilities include supporting continuous delivery pipelines, automating deployment processes, and troubleshooting issues in development, testing, and production environments.
The role involves optimizing interdependencies between application development and infrastructure operations through continuous delivery and monitoring.
Key responsibilities include building, publishing, and automating the deployment of releases, researching new technologies for the DevOps toolchain, monitoring infrastructure performance, and providing product support for escalated tickets.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services, including ECS, Fargate, EC2, Code Deploy, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and IAM.
A minimum of 1 year of experience working with Docker containers is necessary.
Candidates should have 2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python and/or PowerShell.
Experience in setting up and configuring application CI/CD tools like git, Jenkins, Octopus, Ansible, AWS Code Deploy, and Artifactory is required.
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as ELK or Datadog is essential.
Candidates must have experience with Windows and Linux administration, security, configuration, and monitoring.
Experience with Azure or GCP is considered an asset.
A background in a technical engineering role, such as software development, release management, or deployment engineering, is preferred.
Experience in technology infrastructure, including network, monitoring, systems, and databases, is required.
The incumbent will work regular business hours but may need to work evenings and weekends for project completion and system maintenance.
