Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Nagarro is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join their team.
• The ideal candidate should have expertise in AWS, Java, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL, focusing on automation and infrastructure management.
• Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, automating tasks for efficiency, overseeing microservices, monitoring AWS components, and adhering to ITIL processes.
• The role requires working in shifts and being available for 24x7 on-call support for critical tickets.
• Knowledge of release automation tools like Jenkins, patch management, certificate management, and server monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana is essential.
• Experience in deploying DevOps CI/CD pipelines on AWS using Jenkins, setting up Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and utilizing Amazon EC2, EKS, Kubernetes, and Java is required.
• Key technologies involve Kubernetes cluster management, AWS, Terraform, and Java, with operational experience in large user bases and multiple Kubernetes clusters.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in AWS services and tools.
• Experience in Kubernetes cluster management and Terraform.
• Knowledge of Java and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with release automation, patch management, and certificate management.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle on-call support.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
