Description:
Deel is seeking a DevOps Engineer with a passion for automation and next-gen infrastructure.
The role involves working with the latest AWS technologies such as Kubernetes (EKS), S3, Postgres, and DocumentDB.
Responsibilities include managing AWS production deployments (SaaS) running on AWS EKS.
The engineer will design and develop tools for managing and applying DevOps principles, including CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) on cloud-based production systems.
The position requires collaboration with the team to enhance production stability, availability, and reliability.
The engineer will install, configure, update, and troubleshoot product microservices and tools, including databases.
The role also involves designing and managing various monitoring and observability tools for troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant DevOps work experience in production environments.
Applicants should be based in GMT+3 or earlier.
Strong working experience with Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Drone, Jenkins, or GitHub actions is necessary.
A strong IT background is essential.
Candidates must have a deep understanding of networking, including K8S ingress, services, and Load Balancers.
Familiarity with AWS services, including EKS, Postgres, S3, Mongo, SES, SNS, and SQS is required.
Experience in automated deployment and infrastructure is necessary.
Knowledge and experience with alerting and monitoring tools are essential.
Additional programming languages like NodeJS are considered an advantage.
Candidates should be results-driven with a strong commitment to completing tasks.
