Remote DevOps Engineer (Experience with SOC 2)

Description:

• Oowlish, a rapidly expanding software development company in Latin America, is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS and expertise in SOC2 compliance.
• The role involves managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring the security and reliability of systems, and collaborating with premier clients from the United States and Europe.
• The ideal candidate will work remotely, engaging in worldwide collaboration, and contributing to pioneering digital solutions.
• Responsibilities include working with programming languages like Golang, Python, or Node.js, infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation and Terraform, configuration management tools like Ansible and Bash, containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, databases such as Postgres, Redis, and CouchDB, logging and monitoring tools like ELK, Fluentd, Prometheus, and Grafana, service mesh technologies like Envoy, message brokers like Kafka and RabbitMQ, Hashicorp tools like Vault and Consul, project and incident management tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Opsgenie, and blockchain technology like Hyperledger Fabric.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with AWS (Certification preferred).
• Solid knowledge of SOC2 compliance.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Expertise in Ansible and Bash.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Postgres, Redis, and CouchDB.
• Experience with ELK, Fluentd, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Knowledge of Envoy, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Vault, Consul, Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Opsgenie.
• Proficiency in Hyperledger Fabric.
