Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team.
• In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring smooth deployment and maintenance of our software products.
• You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• You will deploy updates and fixes, providing Level 2 technical support.
• You will build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
• You will develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for provisioning and configuration.
• You will implement and monitor containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• You will collaborate with developers and IT staff to manage code releases.
• You will ensure system scalability, security, and high availability.
• You will troubleshoot and resolve deployment and production issues.
• You will implement and maintain version control systems and configuration management tools.
• You will monitor and optimize application performance.
• You will stay current with industry best practices and emerging DevOps tools.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• You must have 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Bash) is necessary.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI) is required.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is essential.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is required.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is necessary.
• A strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, is required.
• Familiarity with database technologies and SQL is necessary.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools is required.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
