Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team.
In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring smooth deployment and maintenance of our software products.
You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
You will deploy updates and fixes, providing Level 2 technical support.
You will build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
You will develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for provisioning and configuration.
You will implement and monitor containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
You will collaborate with developers and IT staff to manage code releases.
You will ensure system scalability, security, and high availability.
You will troubleshoot and resolve deployment and production issues.
You will implement and maintain version control systems and configuration management tools.
You will monitor and optimize application performance.
You will stay current with industry best practices and emerging DevOps tools.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
You must have 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Bash) is necessary.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI) is required.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is essential.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is required.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is necessary.
A strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, is required.
Familiarity with database technologies and SQL is necessary.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools is required.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
