Description:

  • Air Apps is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Lisbon, working in a full-time capacity.
  • The company is focused on creating an AI-powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner (PRP) and aims to redefine resource management.
  • Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • The role involves managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Candidates will implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • The position requires deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and improving infrastructure reliability are key tasks.
  • Establishing and enforcing security best practices, including identity management, logging, and vulnerability management, is essential.
  • The engineer will work with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
  • Optimizing cloud resource utilization for cost-effectiveness and scalability is part of the role.
  • Automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and system maintenance is expected.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging DevOps technologies, tools, and best practices is crucial.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have around 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or ArgoCD is required.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless computing is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, is required.
  • A strong knowledge of Linux-based systems, networking, and security best practices is needed.
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation are necessary.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog is required.
  • Understanding of cloud cost optimization, scalability, and high-availability architectures is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment are necessary.
