Description:

  • The DevOps Engineer position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Azure, Azure DevOps, and various DevOps tools.
  • This role involves collaborating closely with development and operations teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring system performance and security across the entire platform lifecycle.
  • The essential functions include managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and implementing monitoring and alerting solutions.
  • The candidate will design, build, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines leveraging Terraform and Azure DevOps, integrating code quality checks and unit testing into pipelines.
  • The role requires automating the provisioning and configuration management of cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.
  • The DevOps Engineer will implement monitoring solutions to ensure platform performance and conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot production incidents.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • The candidate must have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation.
  • Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform) and scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) is necessary.
  • The candidate should demonstrate excellence in communication, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • A professional demeanor and self-directed motivation are essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP) is required.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Azure DevOps, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet is preferred.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like LogicMonitor and SumoLogic is required.
  • Proficiency in version control with Git and an understanding of security best practices for cloud environments are necessary.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and familiarity with network concepts and security principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, are preferred.
