Description:
The DevOps Engineer position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Azure, Azure DevOps, and various DevOps tools.
This role involves collaborating closely with development and operations teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring system performance and security across the entire platform lifecycle.
The essential functions include managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and implementing monitoring and alerting solutions.
The candidate will design, build, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines leveraging Terraform and Azure DevOps, integrating code quality checks and unit testing into pipelines.
The role requires automating the provisioning and configuration management of cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.
The DevOps Engineer will implement monitoring solutions to ensure platform performance and conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot production incidents.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation.
Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform) and scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) is necessary.
The candidate should demonstrate excellence in communication, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
A professional demeanor and self-directed motivation are essential.
In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP) is required.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Azure DevOps, is necessary.
Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet is preferred.
Knowledge of monitoring tools like LogicMonitor and SumoLogic is required.
Proficiency in version control with Git and an understanding of security best practices for cloud environments are necessary.
Preferred qualifications include experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and familiarity with network concepts and security principles.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, are preferred.
