Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• The position is for experienced DevOps engineers to join the Gigster Talent Network, which focuses on Software Development and Cloud Services.
• The role involves developing and supporting staging and production environments for multiple internal services.
• You will coordinate with various teams to promote and improve CI/CD practices.
• The job includes helping to build services using on-premise Kubernetes and commercial clouds.
• You will work in a team with great flexibility in your technical decisions.
• The role requires strong problem-solving skills, outstanding communication capabilities, and a deep knowledge of the company's products and services.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience is required.
• Excellent programming and debugging skills in scripting languages are necessary.
• A good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools, such as GitLab or similar, is essential.
• Experience in database administration and performance tuning is required.
• Familiarity with Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), Web Services (SOAP/REST), and Scalable Storage (HDFS/Ceph) is needed.
• Expertise in Python programming is a must.
• Familiarity with Windows system administration is a huge advantage.
• Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and others is required.
