Description:
As a DevOps Engineer at Arcadia, you will be responsible for supporting the production infrastructure by using DevOps tools and strategies to handle deployment, upgrades, incidents, and proactive improvements related to IaaS.
In the first 3 months, you are expected to understand the high-level topology of the infrastructure, contribute to project work, and support incidents with minimal assistance.
Within 6 months, you should achieve a deep understanding of the infrastructure costs, contribute to designing more robust and cost-efficient infrastructure, and troubleshoot incidents at an expert level.
By the end of 12 months, you will work with developers to build infrastructural templates, replace legacy infrastructure with new components, collaborate with 3rd party vendors for outsourced solutions, and assist customer tech teams with integrations.
Your responsibilities will include automating infrastructure and services in Arcadia's AWS cloud, creating and securing solutions for Windows, Linux, and serverless environments, capturing telemetry data, providing support to operations, working with vendors to solve technical issues, optimizing build pipelines, and managing CI/CD tooling.
Requirements:
Five years of professional experience, with at least three years in a complex technical environment.
Technical expertise in AWS, Cloud Formation, Terraform, ELK, and Palo Alto.
Proficiency in at least one programming language for building cloud-based infrastructure.
Knowledge of cloud services, SQL Server, directory services, virtualization, databases, security, and client devices.
Ability to build and improve services for existing technology.
