Remote DevOps Engineer (fully remote - Bulgaria)

Description:

• The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining AWS infrastructure using Terraform, including provisioning and managing AWS resources, automating changes, and monitoring performance.
• The role includes managing and maintaining Kubernetes infrastructure, optimizing resource usage, monitoring clusters, and troubleshooting issues.
• The engineer will collaborate with other engineers to develop and implement Kubernetes best practices and tools for managing applications.
• Responsibilities also include designing, building, and optimizing the technology stack from continuous integration to deployment.
• The engineer will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment of production software components.
• Fine-tuning alerting and monitoring tools and processes, making hardware and software expansion recommendations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams are also key tasks.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a similar role is required.
• AWS Professional Certifications are preferred.
• Candidates must have experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, Gitlab CI, Terraform, and Vault is necessary.
• A solid understanding of architectural principles and strong system design for micro-services and micro-front-ends is essential.
• Strong system debugging skills and the ability to aid in scale/performance roadmaps are required.
• Experience with various database types, including Relational and NoSQL, is necessary.
