• The DevOps Engineer will help increase the speed of delivery, improve code quality/security, and optimize processes for the development team.
• Responsibilities include identifying bottlenecks in development and delivery processes, improving them, and enhancing the overall developer experience.
• The role involves infrastructure-as-code deployment tooling and supporting services on multiple cloud providers, along with metrics and logging.
• The DevOps Engineer will work closely with Tech Leads and developers to develop automation pipelines and CI/CD.
• They will develop self-serve tools/artefacts to support the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• The position requires configuring infrastructure using IaaS/PaaS products and custom-developed tools.
• The engineer will participate in deploying application artifacts to target environments and in planning delivery time, code quality, and process efficiency improvement projects.
• Maintenance tasks include infrastructure health checks and monitoring.
• The role involves identifying bottlenecks in development and deployment processes and designing automation solutions to mitigate them.
• The engineer will maintain and grow knowledge of platform configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Collaboration with the DevOps team is essential to deliver consistent and holistic solutions to the organization.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have excellent scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Experience in building and maintaining large-scale, cloud-based container platforms (IaaS and PaaS) is required.
• A working knowledge of deployment automation solutions like Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible is necessary.
• Experience with the AWS platform is required, and certification is a plus.
• Candidates should have experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as GitlabCI, Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, and Sonar is essential.
• Knowledge of security automation tools, including static application security testing, is preferred.
• A strong understanding of Agile methodologies is required.
• Experience as a DevOps or SRE Engineer on a cross-functional agile team is preferred.
