Description:

  • Staff4Me is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Grafana monitoring tools to join our dynamic team.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining monitoring solutions using Grafana while collaborating closely with development and operations teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • You will design, implement, and maintain Grafana dashboards to visualize and monitor system performance metrics.
  • You will collaborate with the DevOps team to manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • You will analyze system performance and availability to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • You will participate in incident response by monitoring alerts and providing timely resolutions to outages and performance degradation.
  • You will work closely with development teams to integrate monitoring solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
  • You will maintain thorough documentation of monitoring configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Grafana and promoting its use in a production environment is required.
  • A strong understanding of monitoring solutions and metrics gathering is necessary.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is expected.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Experience in managing monitoring tools and solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack) is necessary.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is required.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.) is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on system reliability are necessary.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and networking concepts is expected.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are required.
  • Capacity for proactive thinking and initiative in improving processes is necessary.
