Description:
Netomi AI is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work collaboratively with the software development team to deploy and operate systems.
The role involves ensuring the system runs smoothly and is continuously monitored to resolve issues.
Responsibilities include managing Kubernetes clusters, configuring RBAC policies, and optimizing cluster performance and scalability.
The engineer will build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Spinnaker to automate deployment processes.
The position requires developing and maintaining Helm charts for Kubernetes applications, ensuring proper versioning and deployment strategies.
The engineer will integrate and manage service meshes such as Istio or Linkerd for service discovery, load balancing, and secure communication.
Writing and maintaining automation scripts using Python, Ruby, or Golang is essential for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and debugging.
There is a bonus opportunity to implement chaos engineering principles to test and improve system reliability.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
Proficiency in Kubernetes, including RBAC, cluster administration, and Helm, is required.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Spinnaker is necessary.
Familiarity with service mesh solutions like Istio or Linkerd is important.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Golang is required.
Candidates should have familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
A strong understanding of system design, networking, and infrastructure management is essential.
Knowledge and experience in chaos engineering tools like Chaos Monkey, LitmusChaos, or Gremlin is considered a bonus.
