Outliant is a fully remote US-based digital product development and startup consulting company that promotes individual growth through creativity and work-play energy.
The company is looking to hire a full-time, remote Mid Level DevOps Engineer to join their venture, Winona, which focuses on transforming the menopause experience through telehealth services.
The primary focus of the role will be collaborating with a team of developers to create and implement software applications and components.
The position allows for flexible working hours and emphasizes team collaboration, communication, and product quality.
Responsibilities include managing infrastructure for software development, deployment, and testing, configuring and maintaining servers, databases, networking, and storage systems, monitoring system health and performance, establishing logging practices, collaborating with development teams, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating tasks, and managing version control systems.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its services, including S3, CloudFront, ECS, ECR, and Lambda.
Extensive knowledge of AWS is required.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (CDK and/or Terraform) is necessary.
Candidates should have fundamental knowledge or experience in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), such as CloudFormation.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using AWS technologies like CodeBuild, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, or similar tools is essential.
Proven ability to set up CI/CD pipelines with GitHub is required.
Proficiency in container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
Familiarity with Cloudflare is preferred.
An AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification is required.
A background in web development, preferably in JavaScript for debugging purposes, is necessary.
Experience working with Agile Teams is required.
Great documentation and communication skills are essential.
Excellent English communication skills are required.
Full-time availability (40 hours/week) is necessary.
A personal computer with stable internet is required.
Nice-to-haves include AWS Solutions Architect Certification, knowledge of Terraform, experience with Contentful, experience with Vue/Nuxt, familiarity with Google Cloud, and knowledge of additional AWS services like Route53, SNS, EKS, DynamoDB, and CodeStar.
