Description:
Jobgether is seeking a DevOps Engineer II for a remote position in India.
This role requires an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern CI/CD practices.
Responsibilities include architecting and managing scalable infrastructure using AWS and Amazon EKS, implementing infrastructure as code, and leading security and monitoring efforts across platforms.
The position involves collaborating with a global engineering team to ensure reliability, performance, and efficiency in deployments.
Key accountabilities include architecting, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure, designing secure environments, building CI/CD pipelines, optimizing database infrastructure, administering CloudFlare, developing technical documentation, implementing monitoring systems, and participating in a rotational shift schedule.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in DevOps engineering roles, particularly in product or SaaS companies.
Advanced expertise with AWS services and Amazon EKS is required, along with strong Terraform/IaC experience.
Solid experience in Kubernetes orchestration and containerization using Docker is necessary.
A proven track record in managing CI/CD with GitLab and Argo CD is essential.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of IAM, security groups, and cloud networking.
Experience in administering and optimizing Amazon RDS is required; knowledge of Snowflake is a plus.
Familiarity with Python and Bash scripting for automation tasks is needed.
Proficiency with CloudFlare for DNS and web application firewall configurations is required.
Candidates must be comfortable working rotational shifts, including day and night shifts.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer and Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
