Description:
Kueski is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Infrastructure team.
The role involves maintaining the reliability, scalability, and security of production systems to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable infrastructure using AWS and Terraform, managing Kubernetes environments, and establishing monitoring and incident response systems.
The engineer will create and maintain automation scripts in Bash and Python, set up and enhance CI/CD pipelines, and optimize infrastructure performance.
Security and compliance are critical, requiring management of IAM policies and security configurations.
Collaboration with software engineers and mentoring junior team members are also essential aspects of the role.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
Proven experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, and IAM is necessary.
A strong background in infrastructure as code, specifically with Terraform, is essential.
Proficiency with Kubernetes and Istio service mesh for managing microservices is required.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of AWS architecture, networking, and cloud best practices.
Expertise in Terraform and experience with Git for version control are needed.
Skills in Bash and Python for automation, as well as experience setting up CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions, are required.
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with agile methodologies are essential.
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams are necessary.
