Description:

Mactores is seeking a DevOps Engineer Intern to join their team in Mumbai, MH, with a focus on managing large customer deployments.
The role involves working on operations tickets and project task queues alongside the DevOps Team.
Interns will communicate with the Engineering team to implement broad changes for customers.
Responsibilities include automating operational and server provisioning workflows using AWS CloudFormation Templates (CFT).
Interns will share the responsibility for deploying releases and conducting operations maintenance.
The position requires enhancing operations infrastructure, including Jenkins clusters, Bitbucket, monitoring tools like Consul, and metrics tools such as Graphite and Grafana.
Providing operational support for the Engineering team and assisting in migrating dedicated hardware infrastructure to the cloud are also key tasks.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a conceptual understanding of version control systems, specifically git, including branching and merging strategies.
A conceptual understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is required.
Familiarity with Snowflake is necessary.
Candidates should have conceptual understanding or exposure to software build tools like Maven and Gradle, as well as continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
Experience supporting Java-based applications in a production environment is a must.
A conceptual understanding of Linux environments and scripting languages, including bash, python, and Groovy, is required.
