Description:

  • Nisum is a global leader in digital commerce based in California, offering services in digital strategy and transformation, analytics, blockchain, business agility, and custom software development.

  • Nisum is seeking 3 Senior DevOps specialists with experience in the banking sector (preferred) to join their team in Latin America.
  • This role will be crucial in supporting solution generation, implementing proof of concepts, and troubleshooting Kubernetes-related issues across all environments.
  • You will work closely with globally distributed teams, especially the DevOps team in Canada, to ensure the proper functioning of deployed solutions.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating on solution generation, providing support for Kubernetes issues, managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters through Anthos, managing deployments via GitOps using ArgoCD, implementing Istio rules, utilizing Git for effective branch management, collaborating with development teams, and providing advanced knowledge in Istio for troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must reside in LATAM.
  • An advanced level of English is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a DevOps engineer is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Anthos, ArgoCD, GitOps, Helm Charts, Istio, BitBucket, and Git is essential.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues related to application deployment and operation in production environments is required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
  • The ability to work independently and proactively is expected.
