• Coactive is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team in Medellín, Colombia, focusing on building and maintaining scalable infrastructure for microservices, data pipelines, and data lakes.
• The role emphasizes cloud platforms and real-time workflows, and it is a remote position.
• Responsibilities include designing and maintaining highly scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• The engineer will develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for microservices and data pipelines.
• Managing and enhancing real-time data workflows using technologies such as Kafka, Spark, and Databricks is also a key responsibility.
• The position requires implementing robust monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Datadog.
• Establishing and enforcing cloud security best practices to ensure data and application integrity is essential.
• The engineer will automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform and orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes.
• Collaboration with ML and data engineering teams to integrate infrastructure with data models is expected.
• Efficient network setup and management of databases such as MongoDB, Postgres, and Redis are also part of the role.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS, and knowledge of GCP and Azure.
• Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management, as well as related tools like Envoy and Keda, is required.
• Proficiency with data platforms and tools, including Kafka, Spark, and Databricks, is necessary.
• Strong Python programming skills for automation and infrastructure management are essential.
• A solid understanding of networking concepts and experience in setting up and managing network infrastructure is required.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Datadog, to ensure system reliability is needed.
• Proven experience with databases like MongoDB, Postgres, and Redis is mandatory.
