InDebted is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer who thrives in high-velocity environments and is passionate about automation, scalability, and security.
The role focuses on managing and optimizing the Windows-based Genesys Latitude application in AWS, ensuring reliability and performance across cloud infrastructure, systems, and databases.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
The engineer will administer and optimize Windows-based systems in AWS environments to ensure reliability and performance.
Managing SQL Server databases in AWS to ensure high availability and scalability is also a key responsibility.
The role involves automating deployment pipelines and workflows for seamless software delivery.
Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure, application, and database issues is essential.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into efficient technical solutions is expected.
The engineer will implement security best practices across cloud, systems, and databases.
Continuous improvement of system performance, scalability, and deployment processes is a priority.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Experience managing MS SQL Server in AWS environments is required.
Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible is necessary.
Strong experience managing and automating Windows-based systems in AWS is essential.
Candidates should have experience managing security and compliance on Windows machines in AWS.
Comfort with agile methodologies, Kanban, and structuring one's own work is expected.
Experience in high-velocity environments with frequent deployments and infrastructure changes is important.
Familiarity with the tech stack including AWS, Terraform, and Ansible is required.
Knowledge of DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines and version control (GitHub, BuildKite) is necessary.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or programming languages like Python or Go is expected.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch and Grafana is required.
Candidates should demonstrate ownership by driving infrastructure projects from concept to deployment.
Strong communication skills for discussing complex ideas with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.
