Description:
The company is Gesellschaft für innovative Personalwirtschaftssysteme mbH, a leading software manufacturer for public and social employers in Germany.
The product, KIDICAP®, has been on the market for 40 years and is used by around 25,000 organizations as a cloud service.
KIDICAP® is a modern web app platform for all areas of human capital management and all company sizes.
The company employs around 200 staff and is continuing to grow.
The position is for a DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) and is available for full-time or part-time work.
The work can be done remotely in Germany or at the offices in Offenbach am Main or Leipzig.
The tech stack includes tools like Docker and Kubernetes, Linux systems, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, and Java (JEE/J2EE/JakartaEE).
Responsibilities include building, operating, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters, managing Docker containers, developing and maintaining Linux-based systems, automating deployments with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, troubleshooting, implementing hardening measures, and applying monitoring solutions.
Requirements:
A completed education or degree in computer science is required.
Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
Experience in administering Linux systems and their network components is essential.
Ideally, knowledge of Bash, Python, or similar languages for automation is preferred.
Experience with tools like Helm and Ansible is advantageous.
Familiarity with tools such as Loki or Grafana is beneficial.
A solution-oriented mindset is required.
Strong teamwork and communication skills, especially in collaboration with development teams, are necessary.
Initiative in introducing new technologies is expected.
Proficiency in German (C1+) is required.
