• Paxful is seeking a DevOps Engineer specializing in Observability and Data Visualization to oversee the strategy, architecture, and operations of its DevOps environment.
• The role requires deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, security protocols, and monitoring tools, along with exceptional leadership skills.
• The engineer will ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance for Paxful’s cryptocurrency services while driving team collaboration and technical innovation.
• Responsibilities include building, configuring, and maintaining observability platforms, integrating tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch for comprehensive visibility.
• The engineer will design and manage Apache Superset dashboards to monitor transactions, system performance, and operational analytics, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
• They will develop and refine alerting mechanisms for rapid detection and resolution of system anomalies, enhancing overall platform reliability.
• The role involves aggregating and analyzing logs using Splunk and Elasticsearch to identify performance trends and potential bottlenecks.
• The engineer will provide actionable insights through detailed reports and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making across teams.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in observability, monitoring, or data engineering roles, with a strong track record of building and managing robust monitoring systems.
• Proficiency in observability platforms like Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana for full-stack monitoring and visualization is required.
• Advanced skills in creating dashboards and data visualizations with tools like Apache Superset, Grafana, and Splunk are necessary to deliver actionable insights.
• Strong knowledge of AWS monitoring and event management tools, including CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and SNS, is essential.
• Expertise in logging systems such as Elasticsearch and Logstash is required for efficient log aggregation and analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing complex datasets to support decision-making and operational improvements are mandatory.
