Description:

  • Blue Coding is seeking a Mid-level DevOps Engineer to join a fast-growing tech company focused on portfolio management in mortgage trading and asset management.
  • The position is fully remote, allowing candidates from Latin America to work from anywhere as long as they can deliver high-quality work.
  • The role involves designing, building, and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
  • Responsibilities include managing and optimizing AWS services such as Fargate, Postgres (RDS), API Gateway, and CloudFront.
  • The engineer will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and collaborate with developers to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable application deployments.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting system performance and availability, as well as supporting automation, observability, and disaster recovery practices, are key aspects of the job.
  • The company values a collaborative, engineering-driven environment where ideas and expertise influence the product roadmap.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have proven experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure best practices is required.
  • Proficiency with Terraform and managing Infrastructure-as-Code in production environments is essential.
  • Experience with Docker container orchestration and deployment using Fargate is necessary.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, API Gateway, and PostgreSQL is expected.
  • Good scripting skills in languages such as Bash or Python are required.
  • Knowledge or experience with credit, mortgages, trading platforms, or similar environments is a plus.
