Neon is seeking talented women to join their team as a DevOps Engineer Plena in a remote position.
The role involves building automations, optimizing costs, and improving the developer experience to ensure a scalable, resilient, and efficient environment.
Key responsibilities include collaborating on the development of automations and infrastructure as code (IaC) using GitOps, AWX, and Terraform to create a standardized and easily maintainable environment.
The engineer will help ensure the resilience and observability of engineering tools by employing Prometheus, Grafana, and on-call monitoring.
Contributing to the improvement of the developer experience through efficient tools, optimized pipelines, and simplified deployment and monitoring processes is essential.
Participation in the implementation of FinOps practices to optimize infrastructure costs is required.
The role involves working with Cloud-Native and DevOps technologies, including Istio, Kong, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and HashiCorp Vault, ensuring security and scalability.
Collaboration with engineering teams to define deployment standards, security, and governance is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with monitoring and observability solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and AlertManager is required.
Experience in automation and IaC with tools like Terraform, AWX, and GitOps is necessary.
The ability to collaborate with teams, promote best practices, and share knowledge is essential.
Adaptability to handle different scenarios and challenges in a dynamic environment is important.
A focus on results with the ability to prioritize impactful tasks is required.
Autonomy and collaboration skills to work productively in a remote model are necessary.
