Description:
ARETUM is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage and enhance the CI/CD systems.
This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of cloud-based systems and environments.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines, focusing on operational readiness, performance optimization, and compliance.
Responsibilities include managing and operating CI/CD systems, ensuring compliance with SLA requirements, monitoring AWS resources, managing AWS Key Management System (KMS), creating and configuring new virtual machines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, addressing performance issues, investigating and resolving production issues, installing and managing agile task management tools, implementing backup and restoration processes, monitoring system health, copying projects to GitLab/GitHub, providing technical support, and delivering weekly reports during DevOps stand-up meetings.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, with at least 3 years in AWS cloud environments is required.
Expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, KMS, and RDS is essential.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and container orchestration using Kubernetes/Docker Swarm is necessary.
Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and system management is required.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and deploy effective solutions.
In-depth knowledge of IT security practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, NIST, or ISO 27001) is required.
Experience with system performance monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch is necessary.
A solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation is required.
Excellent documentation and communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement, are essential.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance is necessary, along with U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency.
