Remote DevOps Engineer (remote) at Percona

Description:

Join Percona's Global Advanced Services team as a DevOps Engineer to work on building and automating a database management platform.
Collaborate closely with services teams on new feature development and bug fixing.
Work remotely from your home office using online tools and resources.
Required to have a reliable high-speed internet connection.
Responsibilities include working on development initiatives, CI/CD pipelines, and refining processes for successful onboarding and maintenance of clients.
Prioritize new product/integration requests and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Experience with configuration management solutions, platform/service design, and tool development in Python, Bash, Golang, and/or JS.
Proficiency in administering Linux systems, CI/CD solutions, cloud services, monitoring solutions, and database management.
Strong collaboration, communication skills, and proficiency in English required.

Experience with configuration management solutions like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Proficiency in platform/service design and tool development in Python, Bash, Golang, and/or JS.
Demonstrable experience in administering Linux based systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD solutions, cloud services, monitoring solutions, and database management.
Strong collaboration, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot methodically and resolve complex issues.
Polite, friendly, and professional demeanor.
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
