Remote DevOps Engineer (Remote)

Description:

• Manage and monitor databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Optimize database performance and conduct regular maintenance tasks.
• Ensure database backup and recovery procedures are in place.
• Handle large volumes of data to maintain data integrity and security.
• Install, configure, and maintain database management systems.
• Support and develop CI/CD processes for applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient operation of applications and services.
• Automate deployment and infrastructure management processes.
• Develop and maintain tools for monitoring and managing infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DBA.
• Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Familiarity with non-relational databases like MongoDB and Redis.
• Understanding of database backup, recovery, and resilience concepts.
• Experience in configuring and optimizing database performance.
• Knowledge of basic network technologies and security.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in automation using scripts (Bash, Python) and configuration tools (SaltStack, Terraform).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like TeamCity, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
