Remote DevOps Engineer (Remote, Greece & Cyprus)

Description:

• Join the dynamic Engineering Team at LearnWorlds to support the development of new features for enhancing customer experience.
• As a Mid-level DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for improving day-to-day operations and infrastructure.
• Work in a team environment with experienced engineers towards the common goal of continuous improvement.
• Deploy curiosity, learning aptitude, and potential to grow while making smart decisions and being proactive.
• Utilize technologies like PHP, Go, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Redis on Google Cloud Platform with services such as Kubernetes, Cloud Compute Engine, BigQuery, and more.

Requirements:

Must-have

• 2-3 years of experience in a production engineering or devops role focusing on optimizing software development and deployment processes.
• Proficient in Kubernetes, Helm, and other cloud-native technologies.
• Proven experience in managing a production Kafka cluster.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools for system availability, performance, and reliability.
• Strong coding and scripting skills in Bash, Go, or other relevant languages for automation and system performance improvement.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in cloud-native architecture on platforms like GCP or AWS.
• Relevant certifications like Google Cloud or Kubernetes Administrator.
• Previous work with LMS systems and familiarity with PHP code.
• Open-source contributions.
